The Broward Longfins
About the Longfins
The Longfins were created by Nelson Alvarez, Manny Diaz (Tito), George Gonzalez (Speedy) and Tony Marcuccino in 1998 to promote and encourage the sport of freediving, underwater hunting, safety and ocean resources awareness.
The Club meets at Outdoor World in Dania, off I-95, every third Monday of the month at 8:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to visit anytime and learn about our sport and club.

The Longfins have sent their best divers to the past 8 U.S. National competitions and hosted the Nationals in Pompano Beach in 2006 for the first time in the Club history.
